North Tanami Band sings mainly in their Warlpiri language, as the band feels it important to keep language and culture strong within the community and tribe. Their songs tell stories in language about how in the past the Warlpiri people survived and lived in the desert; and how people are living today.
Released in 2005, Walpiri Tribe is North Tanami Band’s fourth studio album.
