Tjupi Band’s debut album is a wonderful journey though the band’s early exploration and experimentation.

Although nowhere near as polished as their later albums, there are many noteworthy moments in the album.  The first track ‘Petola Wanti’ gives insight into the origins of Barnabus Daniels’ melodic choices, whist the syncopated synthesizers create a rolling and endearing groove.  ‘Ngayulu Nyinanyi’ features congos and acoustic guitar, creating textures rare in a Central Desert recording.
