Come to Monte’s Lounge in Alice Springs on 21 June and be treated to a showcase of the best Aboriginal talent in Central Australia. Have dinner while listening to performances by these rising stars – and then kick-on until late with the Cutlery DJ night starting at 10pm.
The CAAMA Music showcase will include performances by Cassandra Williams, Helena Smith, Jacinta Price and Wolfpack Amadeus; with an introduction by local music legend Warren H. Williams.
A special viewing of the new Tjintu Desert Band music video – shot at Ooramina Station and created by CAAMA Productions – will also be screened for the first time on the night.
Snapshot is an annual compilation produced by CAAMA Music, and for many of the artists included this will be their first professional recording along their way to a musical career.
You’ll be able to support locally recorded and produced music by buying copies of the album of the night for the special price of $20.
